Calgary Srithevi Karumari Amman Hindu Temple
The Calgary Srithevi Karumari Amman Hindu Temple was established in 2007 in Calgary City, coinciding with the Chithra New Year. This temple is a charitable organization dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of the community.
The temple is blessed with the presence of Lord Devi Karumari Amman, along with other revered idols such as Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva, Lord Murugan, Lord Mahavishnu, Lord Ayyappan, Lord Anjaneya, Lord Bhairava, and the Navagrahas. All pujas are conducted by fully learned and experienced priests and scholars, ensuring the highest standards of spiritual practice.
In 2020, the temple was reconstructed, adding more idols including the nine various avatars of Goddess Shakthi, known as Navashakthi. The temple celebrated Kumbhabhishekam on October 19, 2020, marking this significant enhancement to our spiritual offerings.
